Through the Lens: The Road I’ve FramedThe smell of burnt rubber and high-octane fuel clung to my gear like a badge of honor. From Gainesville Raceway—the thunder of dragsters rattling through my chest, to the The cleats and shoulder pads of Semi-pro football, I wasn’t just taking pictures. I was telling stories of power, adrenaline, and motion. I found rhythm in chaos—whether on asphalt or turf. Each click of the shutter froze moments that families would hang on walls and players would carry in their memories. Between gigs, my passion for the off-road world pulled me west. One year, I finally pointed the lens toward Moab, Utah. Red rock giants framed the sky as I trailed with a convoy of metal beasts, crawling over slickrock like insects on Mars. Sunrise in Moab? You don’t photograph it. You feel it. I did both. From the roar of nitromethane engines to the silent crunch of tires on sandstone, my camera’s been my passport. Every shot is a story. Every venue, a chapter. And somewhere in the blur of speed and stillness, I found my focus—not just on subjects, but on a life built one frame at a time.
